Midpoint check-in with dentsu creative & maip

My internship experience at dentsu Creative has been nothing short of amazing. From day one, I was welcomed into a supportive and collaborative environment that fostered my growth and allowed me to contribute to real-world projects. I have had the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, allowing me to gain hands-on experience and develop my skills in areas such as UI design, art direction, and communication within a cross-functional team. The team at dentsu Creative has been incredibly supportive, providing me with guidance and mentorship as I navigate the world of advertising. In particular, I want to give a special shoutout to my manager, Steph Wulz, for being incredibly encouraging of both my work for clients and personal projects for professional developments. Without Steph pushing me out of my comfort zone, I might have never participated in the internal NFT competition, and creating my first ever NFT illustrations based on the shapes that the dentsu Creative branding commonly uses. It has been an invaluable experience so far, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a dynamic and innovative agency.

The 4A's MAIP fellowship has been an incredible addition to my internship experience. Through their weekly labs, I have gained valuable insights and skills that have complemented my learning at dentsu Creative. These labs have covered various aspects of advertising, from market research and consumer insights to digital marketing and brand strategy. The opportunity to learn from industry professionals and engage in interactive discussions has been truly insightful and has broadened my understanding of the advertising industry. Additionally, MAIP has provided me with a platform to connect with other talented fellows and build a network of like-minded professionals. I am grateful for the support and resources provided by the 4A's MAIP fellowship, as it has enhanced my internship experience and prepared me for a successful career in advertising.
